Secularism and the sinister loop-hole

Secularism is the belief that religion has no business involving itself in government affairs, and (supposedly) reasons that all all religions must be equal. The logic surrounding secularism is this: In the medieval times, Christianity was involved into mundane/medical/legal/affairs in certain nations. to the point that Christianity became the state itself (The inquisition and the Witch Hunts, among several numerous examples.). The result was that slavery became rampant at every level, people were murdered in the name of Christ (Muslims aren't any better in this regard,  having enslaved Africans in their countries. and the Jews... the more said about their atrocities in every nation, the more horrifying it becomes.) After the medieval times, those nations decided to separate themselves from these religion, not including gods or religions into mundane/legal/political affairs, in an attempt for to be more reasonable and logical.
